Low Carbon Development Initiative and National Medium-Term Development Plan

In 2017 the Indonesian Government launched the Low Carbon Development Initiative (LCDI) with the goal to better integrate climate protection into the country's development agenda. A first outcome is the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) for 2020-2024. This process resulted in the development of a Provincial Working Group (with all 34 provinces), the creation of an online monitoring and reporting system, and several training workshops for improved monitoring of climate mitigation action.
