In the 2020 NDC update, the Fijian Government has committed to promote sustainable and resilient development by enabling key stakeholders at the national and sub-national levels and strengthening the role of its local government bodies to make informed decisions regarding the use of natural resources. However, they have not been explicit about how they will do this.
