Carbon Neutral Adelaide
Australia
The Carbon Neutral Adelaide partnership was signalled in 2016 between the Government of South Australia and Adelaide City Council to realise the goal for the City of Adelaide to be the world's first carbon neutral city. The Carbon Neutral Adelaide vision document sets out a policy framework for collaborative implementation, including actions targeting businesses and individuals, investment in energy efficiency and renewables, transport, and waste. The South Australian Government's Climate Change Action Plan (2021-2025) also identifies local government as a key implementation partner.
